ऐसा कहकर योगाग्नि में शरीर जलाया। श्रीराम की कृपा से वैकुण्ठ सिधारे। इसलिए मुनि (शरभंग) श्रीहरि में लीन नहीं हुए — प्रभु से सगुण-भक्ति का वरदान पाया था।
