They strike with slaps, rebuke with clenched teeth, bite, and trample with kicks. The monkeys and bears shriek, employing tricks and strength to wear down the wicked. They seize jaws and tear them, rip open chests, and fling intestines around necks. It is as though the Lord of Prahlada has assumed many forms and plays in the arena of war. 'Seize! Kill! Cut! Throw down!' — such terrible cries fill the sky and earth. Victory to Rama, who makes a blade of grass as hard as a thunderbolt and a thunderbolt as soft as grass.
